In effect from 1 August 2026
These terms cover the purchase and use of any subscription sold on this site. CyberThreat Help is a Fortify 24x7 brand, and Fortify 24x7 is your counterparty on every line sold here. Where these terms say we or us, they mean Fortify 24x7.
What you are buying
Each line you select is a monthly subscription to a named service, priced per unit as shown on the coverage page. The unit is stated on every line: a server, an endpoint, a managed device, a mailbox, a licensed user, one company file, or one tenant. You are buying that service, delivered and monitored by us using the platforms named on the relevant manual entry.
Service begins once deployment is complete and the line is confirmed reporting. We aim to complete deployment on the same business day where access permits, but a line that cannot be deployed because access has not been granted is not yet in service.
What you are not buying
These subscriptions are protective coverage purchased in advance. They are not an emergency incident response retainer. Purchasing a subscription does not create an obligation on us to respond to an incident that predates it, and it does not entitle you to on site emergency work. An engagement of that kind is arranged separately with the Fortify 24x7 operations team and is subject to its own agreement and its own fees.
Nothing sold here is insurance, and nothing sold here is legal advice. We do not advise on breach notification obligations. We can hand you the technical record of an event; what you are required to do with it is a question for your own counsel.
Payment
Every subscription is charged by the month, up front, to a card. Stripe performs the processing, and card numbers are at no point handled or kept by this website. Your card statement and receipts will read FORTIFY 24X7.
A failed payment is retried, and we write to you when that happens. Where payment remains outstanding we may suspend the affected lines. We will tell you before we do so, because suspending protection without warning helps nobody.
Changing quantities
Quantities may be increased or reduced from your client portal or by writing to the desk. An increase is charged from the following billing date. A reduction also applies from that date, and nothing is refunded part way through a period. If our deployment finds you have more devices than you bought for, we will tell you and agree the change with you rather than adjusting it quietly.
Cancelling
Cancel whenever you wish, from your client record or in writing. Doing so prevents the following charge. No notice is required and no minimum term applies. The period already paid for plays out to its end date, then stops. Agents and connectors are removed or deactivated after that date.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate counts of the devices, mailboxes, and systems you want covered.
- Provide the access needed to deploy, and keep it in place while the subscription runs.
- Tell us when equipment is added, retired, or replaced.
- Keep your own accounts and administrative credentials secure. We cannot protect an environment that has been handed over.
What we do not promise
No security product or service anywhere prevents every incident, and a provider suggesting otherwise is mid sales pitch. What we undertake is to deploy the services you bought, to operate them competently, to watch what they report, and to act within the authority you have given us. We do not warrant that you will not suffer a security incident.
Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the affected service in the twelve months preceding the event. Indirect and consequential losses, lost profit and lost business among them, fall outside our liability.
Third party platforms
The services are delivered using platforms provided by third parties, including SentinelOne, Fluency, ThreatLocker, Ironscales, N-able, Addigy, Zimperium, Actifile, and Dropsuite. Those platforms are subject to their own availability and their own change cycles. Where a platform changes in a way that materially alters what a line does, we will tell you.
Revisions
These terms can be revised. Where a change materially affects what you receive or what you pay, we will give you notice before it applies to your subscription, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Questions about them go to support@cyberthreat.help.
